AASE Terms of Service and Refund Policy
1. Operating Entity and AgreementThis website is owned and operated by the Applied and Advanced Science Exchange (AASE) (hereinafter referred to as "the Association"). These terms govern your use of this website and your participation in international academic conferences organized or co-organized by the Association (including but not limited to the GSESS, ICAESNS, and FAISSA conference series). By accessing this website or completing the registration process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
2. Academic Integrity and Intellectual Property
Submission Warranty: For all academic abstracts, full papers, or presentation slides submitted through this platform, the submitter warrants that the content is original and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.
Licensing: Submission of work constitutes a license granted to the Association to display the work during the conference and to include it in the relevant Conference Proceedings for formatting, publication, and academic dissemination.
3. Conference Registration and Refund PolicyTo ensure the administrative stability of international conferences, the following refund standards apply to all registration fees:
General Cancellation:
More than 4 weeks prior to the event: Full registration fee will be refunded, minus a 20% Administration Fee.
Between 2 to 4 weeks prior to the event: 50% of the full registration fee will be refunded.
Less than 2 weeks prior to the event: No refund will be provided.
Cancellation due to Failed Visa Application:
More than 2 weeks prior to the event: Upon provision of official refusal documentation from the relevant Embassy/Consulate, the full registration fee will be refunded, minus a 20% Administration Fee.
Less than 2 weeks prior to the event: No refund will be provided.
Note: All refund requests must be submitted in writing via official email. The time of receipt by the Association’s system shall prevail.
4. Payment Security and Data Protection
Transaction Security: This website uses third-party professional payment gateways (such as 2Checkout, Stripe) to process credit card transactions. The Association does not store your full credit card number or security code.
Privacy: Personal information provided will be used solely for conference communication, invitation letter issuance, and academic administration. The Association pledges not to disclose data to unauthorized third parties.
5. Limitation of LiabilityThe Association is responsible only for the academic organization and venue administration of the conference. The Association shall not be held liable for any third-party expenditures (such as airfare loss, hotel booking fees, or travel insurance) incurred by participants due to visa denials, flight delays, natural disasters, or any personal reasons preventing attendance.
6. Governing Law and Dispute ResolutionThe final right of interpretation of these terms belongs to Applied and Advanced Science Exchange (AASE). This agreement is governed by the laws of the location where the Association operates. In the event of any dispute, both parties shall first seek an amicable settlement through good-faith negotiation. If a settlement cannot be reached, both parties agree to the jurisdiction of the courts in the operating location.
7. Amendments to TermsThe Association reserves the right to modify or change these terms at any time. Amended terms will be posted on this website immediately.
