Nowadays, interdisciplinary research is increasing and playing a key role. In our interdisciplinary joint conferences, participants are able to share their viewpoints from different perspectives and seek new collaborative opportunities across fields. AASE operates offices in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and its 2027 AI-ESS series brings 22 in-person conferences to cities across Asia, Europe, Oceania and North America.

Dear Author, In our busy digital world, we often forget the value of meeting colleagues from the academic community face to face. Attending a conference lets you present your work, receive direct feedback, and build lasting collaborations — and it is a welcome way to recharge from a heavy schedule of research, writing and teaching. We warmly invite you to submit your original research to the 2027 AASE conferences, which bring disciplines together towards a better society. All submissions are evaluated by internationally recognized scholars through a double-blind review process according to international research standards. We look forward to seeing you at the 2027 AASE conferences.

AASE Keynote Speaker Application
Keynote Speakers: By Invitation and Committee Review
AASE keynote speakers are primarily invited by the AASE Organizing Committee. We also welcome proposals from established senior scholars whose work closely matches the theme of a specific conference. Submitting a proposal does not guarantee a keynote appointment. Every proposal goes through a rigorous review by the AASE Committee, and each conference has only a limited number of keynote slots.
Eligibility
• A doctoral degree and a current appointment at Assistant Professor level or above, with a substantial publication record, or equivalent senior research or professional standing
• Research expertise directly relevant to the conference theme
• Students are not eligible to serve as keynote speakers. We warmly encourage them to submit a paper instead.
Review Criteria
• Relevance to the conference theme and audience
• Academic standing and track record
• Originality and quality of the proposed keynote abstract
Review Process
Proposals are reviewed on a rolling basis. The Committee may decline a proposal or suggest presenting it as a regular paper instead. All decisions are final.
Before you begin: please download the AASE Keynote Abstract Template (Word), complete it with your title, affiliation, abstract and keywords, and upload it below. You will also be asked to upload a headshot photo for your certificate and the conference website.
