All presentations at AASE conferences are delivered in person at the conference venue. Please read the following guidelines carefully before the conference.

- Oral Presentations -

  • Each oral presentation is allocated 15 minutes: about 10 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
  • Presentations are grouped into Parallel Sessions by theme. Your session and time slot will appear in the final program, which is sent to all registered participants by the Conference Secretariat 1–2 weeks before the conference.
  • Please arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the session begins and introduce yourself to the session chair.
  • The session chair will signal when you have 2 minutes remaining. To be fair to all presenters, please keep to your allotted time.

- Equipment -

  • Each session room is equipped with a laptop and a projector with screen.
  • Please bring your slides in PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF format on a USB drive, and keep a backup copy online (for example in email or cloud storage).
  • If you plan to use your own laptop, please bring an HDMI adapter and test the connection during the break before your session.

- Poster Presentations -

  • Posters are presented during a designated poster session.
  • Please prepare your poster according to the Poster Format requirements on our Submission Format page (A0 size, poster template available for download).
  • Presenters are responsible for printing their posters and bringing them to the venue.
  • Please stand by your poster during the poster session to answer questions.

- Certificates -

  • Each presenting author who attends the conference will receive a printed certificate at the conference and an electronic certificate by email after the conference.
