Although it’s located just minutes from the modern shopping paradise of Orchard Road, The Elizabeth Hotel takes inspiration from colonial times. With a strong European influence, the hotel is a delightful nod to the past that nonetheless features all the modern conveniences of the present. As you walk through the hotel, you’ll notice how elegant Chandeliers and black marble counters in the public areas are seamlessly balanced by the state-of-the-art amenities in every room. Adding to the air of prestige and exclusivity are the many world-class boutiques and malls that surround the hotel, making it extremely convenient for guests to live like a king while shopping like a queen.

No problem, you’ll be there in a jiffy using the sparkling MRT system – and why not stop at Marina Bay for a spot of shopping on your way? Plus, with new metro lines opening practically every two years, this tiny island just keeps on becoming easier to explore. The details please refer to the website of Lonely Planet/Singapore.
